It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I'm some how surprised and kinda angry that someone would take my artwork without permission. Honestly come on why would anyone steal my ugly art.

i dont believe its quite like that, zerochan and photobucket are user-based and people deliberately upload artwork there . if someone uploads your artwork to e-shuushuu or zerochan, then you should be a lot more worried, especially because social-media roleplayers rip images from those site and edit them through photoshop to make their "OCs."

i think that this website that someone has put up didn't gather all the information that could have helped them understand it before it was spread around and so many people was quick to be angry and send in nasty comments to the poor website owners, etc, who may sincerely have no control over it

but seriously, i dont advise people going on this search engine site thats been going around because it can hold a lot of viruses, especially with how many advertisements are on it. if you are logged on to facebook,it pops up and wants you to post comments through it, while some sites like photobucket doing so can be harmless, you never know
